When adding tags manually using the 'Add. Protocol Tag' command , tags of respective variables are added one-by-one. To get a list of variables and their addresses, you should open a PLC project in the development system TIA Portal.

First, you should know a region of a variable that must be interrogated. Variables can be conventionally divided to 2 segments: system tags (PLC Tags; regions of inputs (I), outputs (Q), memory cells (M), counters (C) and timers (T)) and data blocks (Data Block).
