System Requirements
Before you install MasterOPC Universal Modbus Server, check if resources of your computer meet the following requirements:
HDD, monitor, keyboard and mice
Operating system – Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016
At least 1280x1024 screen resolution
100 MB free disk space
Other PC characteristics depend on how the OPC server will be used. For instance, PC must be equipped with a COM port if interaction with a MODBUS device over serial interface is required. In addition, extra resources are required during real-time operation. Those resources depend on such project parameters as number of tags, a tag refresh period, number of clients connected simultaneously, etc.
