Notes on com0com Installation

From the section of downloading COM0COM, download a version that corresponds to your operating system type:

Note that there are 64-bit versions signed and 64-bit versions unsigned. It is recommended to download a signed version. Installation of an unsigned version is admissible only if a computer is in the test mode (for details, click here).

The special utility is used in order to create virtual COM ports. For proper utility operation, NetFramework 2 is required, but we recommend to install NetFramework 3.5 (NetFramework 3.5 includes NetFramework 2):
