Description of Shortcuts
During installation, the following shortcuts are created in the Multi-Protocol MasterOPC Server group (the group is created in that folder of the Start menu that is chosen while installing the product):
Multi-Protocol MasterOPC Server – open the Multi-Protocol MasterOPC Server control shell
Protocol-Maker – open the Protocol Maker configurator (only for Multi-Protocol SDK MasterOPC Server)
Unregister Multi-Protocol MasterOPC Server – unregister OPC servers (see Registration of OPC Servers )
Register Multi-Protocol MasterOPC Server – register OPC servers (see Registration of OPC Servers )
Register Multi-Protocol MasterOPC Server as service – register Multi-Protocol MasterOPC Server as a service (see Registration of OPC Servers )
Install OPC CORE COMPONENTS – install OPC core update (required for x64 installers – see OPC_Core_Components_Readme.htm in the folder <OPC server installation folder>\OPC_COMPONENTS\)
The Test Projects VS2013 group – contains plugin examples (program texts; only for Multi-Protocol SDK MasterOPC Server). To compile the examples, Visual Studio 2013 is required.
