System Requirements
Before you install Multi-Protocol MasterOPC Server (see Main Characteristics ), check if resources of your computer meet the following requirements:
HDD, CD-ROM drive, monitor, keyboard and mice
Operating system – Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016
Internet browser – Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 or higher
150 MB free disk space
Other PC characteristics depend on how the OPC server will be used. For instance, PC must be equipped with a COM port if interaction with a device over serial interface is required. In addition, extra resources are required during real-time operation. Those resources depend on such project parameters as number of tags, a tag refresh period, number of clients connected simultaneously, etc.
