Description of Shortcuts
During installation, the following shortcuts are created in the MasterOPC Universal Modbus Server group (the group is created in that folder of the Start menu that is chosen while installing the product):
MasterOPC Universal Modbus Server – open the MasterOPC Universal Modbus Server control shell
Uninstall MasterOPC Universal Modbus Server – uninstall the product
Unregister MasterOPC Universal Modbus Server – unregister MasterOPC Universal Modbus Server as a service, and unregister OPC servers (see Registration of OPC Servers )
Register MasterOPC Universal Modbus Server as service – register MasterOPC Universal Modbus Server as a service (see Registration of OPC Servers )
Register MasterOPC Universal Modbus Server – register OPC servers (see Registration of OPC Servers )
Install COM0COM – install com0com, a null-modem emulator (see Installation of a Null-Modem Emulator )
Run MODRSSIM2 – launch the Mod_RSSim2 device simulator (see Destination and Launching of ModRSSim );
Install OPC CORE COMPONENTS – install OPC core update (required for x64 installers – see OPC_Core_Components_Readme.htm in the folder <OPC server installation folder>\OPC_COMPONENTS\).
