The protocol tag is used to receive the data from the device. The tag is added via the context menu of the device or group.

•Logical Name (OBIS) – OBIS identifier of the variable.
•DLMS Type Object - type of DLMS object. Tags support the following types - Data, Register, Extended Register, Demand Register, Profile Generic.
•Attribute Index - the index of DLMS object polled attribute. Available for Extended Register and Demand Regiester. Index 2 (value) is always polled for Data and Register is always polled.
•Scale - multiplier (factor). The value read from the device is multiplied by the specified factor.
•Capture Object OBIS - available, if Profile Generic object is selected. Profile Generic object contains a list of captured objects (objects with archive stored in this profile). This parameter is used to specify, which captured object this tag will be attached to.
The rest of tag parameters are standard and described in section Dialog of tag parameters .
You can add tags manually and specify their parameters (OBIS, attribute, data type) or use an import utility.
