MITSUBISHI SLMP PROTOCOL PLUGIN

The SLMP protocol refers to an open protocol of industrial automation systems developed by Mitsubishi Corporation for Melsec series programmable controllers. The SLMP protocol uses TCP/IP and UDP based networks (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, GPRS) as an interface. Plugin offering automated tags import from a file created in the GX Works 3 programming environment is available for the protocol.

The plugin can be added via the context menu of the server (see 'Add protocol' command ). The protocol uses TCP, so communication node type is always TCP/IP or UDP(see. Node types ).

The added node contains connection settings with controller – IP-address, port. These settings must be selected depending on controller connection settings specified in GX Works 3 development environment. Default IP-port - 5000.
