BACnet is an open protocol used in automation systems of buildings. BACnet can be used in networks based on RS-232, RS-485, LonTalk or Ethernet.
The BACnet plugin is provided to poll BACnet devices via the BACnet/IP protocol over TCP/IP networks (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, GPRS).
To provide protocol functions, you should create the BACNETIP node (see The 'Add Protocol' Command ) (a node type is PROGRAM – see Node Types ):
In that node, you should create the BACNetIP device (see The 'Add Device' Command ).
